Batford Springs - Walk 2

Walk Summary

If you want a slightly longer walk, this second route option is a good one for you.

Like the first route, it enjoys the nature reserve and the optional stepping stones adventure (the red-dotted line on the map).

However, it then heads out for another loop of walking that enjoys a pretty riverside meadow, a stretch of walking along the nicely shaded old discontinued railway line to Luton, and visits a lovely little pub.

Parking Information

Limited free layby parking at start. Alternatively, there is a free car park on Southview Road in Batford, or you can park at the Marquis of Granby pub if you pop in to let them know and enjoy their refreshments of course!
